“Brazilian Cooking”
In a pot add the olive oil and minced garlic, on a medium heat. Sauté until it is a little bit golden brown.
Rinse and drain rice and add it to the pot.
Add rice to the pot and sauté it until it is a little golden brown.
Add water and bring it to a boil.
Once it starts to boil add the salt, and allow it to boil for about 10 more minutes.
Place lid on the pot, and turn the heat down to low.
Allow rice to cook for 30-35 minutes, until the water has evaporated and the rice is tender.
