“Festive Oatmeal”
Cook thick oatmeal cereal. For that boil 2½ cups of water
Add ¼ of a teaspoon of salt and a little vanilla.
Add 2 cups of rolled oats and mix well. Close the pot and do not open it until the oats are ready. Cook the cereal at a very low heat for about 10 minutes. Turn the heat off and let it cool a little bit.
Form oatmeal balls from the cereal using an ice cream scoop.
Put jam or jelly over the balls and sprinkle with fresh or frozen berries.
Serve Festive Oatmeal with Almond Milk.
Pre-soak almonds in water for about 8 hours.
Drain the water. Wash the almonds and put them into a blender.
Add salt and a little water. Blend thoroughly. Continue blending, gradually adding new portions of water until the required amount.
