Peel 6-8 carrots into the shape of a hot dog.

Combine all ingredients together into a heavy bottom pan and stir.

Add prepared carrots and simmer on medium heat covered for 8 minutes.

Remove carrots from the pan to set on a plate and cool.  You’ll want to prepare an airtight container that will fit the carrots and pour your marinade over the carrots in this container and refrigerate for up to 8 hours. When ready to use grill the carrot dog 1-2 minutes.

Add your favorite condiments and serve.

Note: You can use a grill, char-broil, or a panini to cook them. You’re looking for nice crisp markings. You can keep dogs in the  marinade for up to 1 week and use as needed.
