Rinse and chop Swiss chard. Discard the bottom stalk.
Heat skillet over medium high heat and add oil.
When oil is hot, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and Urad dal.
When mustard seeds start sputtering add onions, garlic, green chilies and curry leaves.
When onions turn light brown, add Swiss chard.
Sauté until chard is cooked and almost dry.
