“Nuts About Peanuts”
In a large mixing bowl put all the dry ingredients and mix together.
Make a well in the middle and add all the liquid ingredients.
Mix together until smooth and bake at 350 degrees for 25 – 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool and frost with the creamy Peanut Frosting.
In a glass bowl put one cup of crunchy Peanut butter and spread it thick on bottom of dish and sides.
Put the carob chips on top making sure it only touches the peanut butter, as this will keep the carob chips from burning.
Pour the pure maple syrup on top of carob chips and put a glass lid on top. Microwave for 50 seconds to 1 minute.
Take out of microwave and whip together with a spoon until creamy.
Frost the cake and serve with your favorite meal.
