“Southern Made Simple”
Shred mushroom stems with a fork.
In an iron skillet sauté onions in ¼ water on medium high heat until onions begin to slightly brown. Add more water if needed.
Stir in mushrooms, Homemade BBQ Sauce, lemon juice and seasonings. Mix to combine.
Cook 20 minutes on medium- low.
Stir in 2 Tbsps of olive oil. Mix well and serve on your favorite whole grain rolls.
