Cut tofu into cubes. Heat a skillet with the oil and add the tofu and Kickin’ Chicken Seasoning.
Sauté until golden brown, turning and stirring frequently. Set aside to cool.
Sprinkle lemon juice over salad, add tofu and toss.

I can’t wait to try this on my husband! He misses eating meat but he has been healthier since he has tried to stay away from the meat. It took quadruple bypass surgery to convince him to try vegan/vegetarian. My family were very poor so we never ate much meat at all and so we never developed a taste for meat. This makes it difficult for me to cook foods that satisfy him.
He has learned a lot from the programs on 2ABN, so that helps him to follows beer diet and has really helped in his understanding of a loving God.
Do you happen to have any recipes for sausages? We’ve tried the ones in the store but most are horrible (I found one breakfast patty which he likes) but he misses the Italian sausage and other links that he ate when growing up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.

Thank you for contacting us, Sandra. We are happy to hear that your husband is learning from our programs and that they are making a difference in his life. Praise God! It is understandable that the transition from eating meat to becoming vegan/vegetarian is challenging. One (pre-made) meat alternative that he might like is called “Beyond Meat”. You can google that to find the website and a store near you that carries it. As far as recipes, you can do a search on our recipe site here and a few will come up for you. We are also going to be emailing you some other “sausage” recipes. Hope you find them to be satisfying for your family! God bless you, sister.

Thank you! I received the email and appreciate the recipe. I hope to !make it soon.
I have been buying the beyond beef “hamburger” and it has worked out well for us. I simply add the “hamburger” to his portion of the meal. We are very happy with the product and recommend it to other’s who liked meat but are trying to go vegetarian/vegan.
Could I also ask how long can the chicken like seasoning be stored? And should it be an air tight container r be refrigerated?
Thank you again for the quick and easy recipes. Like many other people, I do not have a lot of time to spend cooking meals so your recipes were a real blessing.
